Licence - temporary events: Outline
The Licensing Act 2003 allows for the service of a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) on both the Licensing Authority with a copy to the police where a licensable event is due to take place other than permitted by an existing Premises or Club Premises Licence. There are limitations which apply to the number of TENs that can be served.

The cost of each TEN is £21.00 and should accompany the application to the Licensing Authority. A copy of the application, but no fee should be sent to the Chief Constable, see below for contact details.
