Unlawful Subletting and Non-Occupancy of Council Properties: Outline
Cannock Chase Council Housing Services has clear procedures for dealing with properties where the tenant is temporarily absent, not using the property as the main principal home or has abandoned or the property is occupied by someone other than the tenant.
If you know a council property that might have been abandoned or the tenant is sub-letting the property to somebody else, kindly contact the Estate Management Team at the Council.
