Licence - Caravan Site: Outline
The Private Sector Housing team is responsible for issuing and enforcing caravan site licences once land has the proper planning permission.
The licence will contain various conditions relating to matters such as distance between caravans, fire precautions, sanitary and washing facilities, refuse disposal and health and safety.
These sites are inspected on a regular basis by Private Sector Housing to check on those standards.
