Every household in the district is provided with a green wheelie bin for domestic household waste (anything that cannot be recycled).  We offer 2 sizes of wheelie bin to our resdients, 140 Litre for households with a small number of residents or a property that does not have a lot of room for wheelie bins, or a standard sized 240 Litre wheelie bin for other households. We also offer a larger 360 Litre green bin for families with 6 or more permanent residents, residents need to write in to the Waste & Engineering department with a list of all the names and dates of births of anyone permanently living in the household. An officer will then be in contact the household.

Residents of the district can check what day their refuse collection is or report a missed bin by telephoning 01543 462621 or by checking their calendar. We actively encourage all residents to regularly check what they are putting in their green bin to see if it can be recycled. We are able to offer extra recycling capacity to those residents who feel they need it. Please call 01543 462621 or email wasteservices@cannockchasedc.gov.uk.
