Supported tenancies: Outline
This is when advice and support is provided to vulnerable tenants whose existing tenancy is either at risk of failing or they are entering a new tenancy and need support to avoid their tenancy from failing.
The work is not client specific and tenants can have varying needs. These may include young care leavers starting a new tenancy, mental health issues, drug and alcohol problems, those with a learning difficulty or other vulnerability.
