After And/Or Before School Childcare: Outline
Out of school services are for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Services can be available both before and after school, with some clubs also opening during school holidays. They are often located in or near schools or youth and community centres.
The clubs are usually run by staff called playworkers who will often collect the child from school and take them to the club.
