District Assemblies - Agendas, Minutes And Reports: Outline
Local Councillors are elected by the community and represent the public interest. To do this they have regular contact with members of the public who live in their ward. They are able to discuss any concerns or problems, either personally, on the telephone or through surgeries. Regular Committee meetings take place for decisions on local issues.
