From 1 April 2015 it is no longer necessary to renew a Personal Licence. Section 115 of the Licensing Act 2003 has been amended by section 69 of the Deregulation Act 2015, removing the requirement to renew personal licences. The expiry date on your licence will be discarded.
You should note you still have a duty to notify the Licensing Unit of a change of name or address. Should you have changed your name or address please inform the Licensing Unit of your new name or address in writing, return your old licence (both the paper part and credit card size part) with the statutory fee of £10.50 in order for a new licence to be produced. At this point the expiry date will be removed from your licence.
