Contaminated Land Reports
In order to comply with its duties in respect of investigating whether land is contaminated, under section 57 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Cannock Chase District Council has recently undertaken soil investigations in 9 priority sites across the district.
The work has been funded by the Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) following successful bids through the Contaminated Land Capital Grants Programme for 2010/11.
Work is in different stages for each of the sites and once a report is made available, it will be posted on this website.
