This event is for Cannock Chase Employers of all sizes to become aware of:
How easy it is to recruit an apprentice
How apprenticeships can be applied to existing staff members as a way of upskilling or supporting training
The funding available to support apprenticeships
The different range of apprenticeship programmes
The advantages of employing apprentices
The added value apprentices can bring to the business.
The partners consisting of Chase Chamber of Commerce, Cannock Chase Council, Staffordshire County Council, South Staffordshire College and Job Centre Plus are working in partnership to provide you with this opportunity. Speakers from these partners together with the Staffordshire Providers Association and the National Apprenticeship Service will provide clear understanding of the benefits that apprenticeships can bring to your business.
There is comprehensive help to set up schemes and up to 100 per cent funding available towards training costs from central government. Today there are more than 200 different types of jobs filled by apprentices and this event could help you take on an apprentice that really makes a difference to your business.
The Employer-focused Apprenticeship event is being held at South Staffordshire College on Friday 10th February 2012 between 9am and 11am - all employers are welcome.
