Make a Referral

This form allows you to refer a case of suspected fraud to us. Before you do, please consider the following carefully:

1. Could the person you suspect, be acting quite legitimately?

2.
Do you genuinely believe someone is committing fraud. Examples of this could be where someone is still claiming benefit but:
  • Not declaring savings/capital (including ownership of property)
  • A customer living with a partner whilst claiming to be alone.
  • A married couple claims one partner has left, but they have not.
  • A customer not telling us about changes in earnings or income, no matter how small.
  • Not telling us about other adults living at the property.
  • Not living at a property, but claiming Housing benefit there.
  • Not telling us that they have moved.
  • A customer not telling us they are closely related to the landlord.
  • Overstating the rent.
  • A landlord making up false tenants.
3. If you do, then please give us as much information as possible.

Any information that you do provide, is treated in the strictest confidence, you do not have to leave your contact details.
