What is "It's Never OK"?
It's Never OK is a new campaign that has been launched to address alcohol-related violence over the festive season.
The campaign shows the significant effects alcohol can have on you and raises awareness of domestic and sexual violence.
The campaign has many elements:
Violent Night - encouraging night-time revellers not to become involved in violence whilst under the influence of alcohol and
Season's Beatings - preventing incidents of domestic violence by challenging the behaviour of the perpetrator and encouraging victims to report abuse.
Valentine's is just another day - preventing incidents of domestic violence and encouraging victims to report the abuse
Cannock Chase Council has joined forces with Staffordshire Police, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Arch and Staffordshire Women's Aid to deliver this campaign across the district of Cannock Chase.
The campaign is being funded by Chase Community Safety Partnership and will be developed further for other seasonal campaigns.
