Past Project Zone

'CHAMPS' is a group of support champions at Cannock Chase High School. The pupils were offered the opportunity to develop a video and a board game on health issues that concern young people. 15 pupils worked together to design and carry out a consultation exercise with all year groups to identify what issues affect different ages to inspire the project. Involving sensitive issues, professional support was given from school staff, the school nurse, and a public health nurse. The grouped worked alongside Mediadivas to create the video and Twelve 20 to generate the board game. Each final product is now available for other schools to use as a health education tool as part of their curriculum studies.
