Working with 'Spring Meadow' mental health rehabilitation and therapy unit in Cannock, Community Wellbeing - Arts assisted the staff and service users to develop of an out of hours arts and craft group that acts as a stepping stone to further assist recovery. 1 in 5 of us at some point may suffer from some form of poor mental health, which often goes untreated.

Now a craft group in their own right, the group meet regularly to create projects that positively contribute to the community which aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health. A recent project involved members working alongside glass artist Jaqueline Cooley to create the Local Hero Awards commissioned by the Local Strategic Partnership and Arts Development.
