Elections
Elections are held 'in thirds', i.e. a third of the Council's seats are contested each year.
This happens 3 years out of every 4.
The next elections will be held in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
To vote in an election you must be registered in your electoral area.
How to apply
To apply to go onto the electoral register a Rolling Registration form must be completed.
These are updated monthly using monthly revision dates.
