Annual Report
For Council Tenants
An Annual Report for Cannock Chase Council regarding the Housing Service was required under the 'New regulatory framework for social housing in England' from 2010.
You may download the full or user friendly version of the report or view a user friendly 'magazine' version as below.

The regulatory framework sets out 5 National Standards against which Cannock Chase Council as a provider of social housing must report against.
The five National Standards are:
- Tenant involvement and empowerment standard
- Home standard
- Tenancy standard
- Neighbourhood and community standard
- Value for money standard
Under each standard we set out:
- What services tenants can expect from the Council
- How we are performing
- How do we compare against other providers
Local Offers
The five National Standards are supplemented by local offers which are agreed between landlords and tenants on the issues that matter most on a local level. Local offers tailor services to what tenants want.
We set out in this report how local offers will be put into place that must come into force by 1 April 2011.
How were tenants involved
Volunteers from the Chase Tenants' and Residents' Federation and Housing Sounding Board joined with Housing Officers to form a Project Group to prepare local offers.
A summary document is also available.
