Homelessness Strategy
The Homelessness Act 2002 introduced the requirement for local authorities to formulate and publish a Homelessness Strategy every five years based on the results of a Homelessness Review.
The Council has produced its current Homelessness Strategy for the period 2011-16. This describes the District’s approach to tackling homelessness, setting out the key issues and priorities for the five year period. To view a copy of the strategy follow the link below.
The 2009/10 Homelessness Review provides a detailed assessment of homelessness and homelessness needs in the District. The Homelessness Strategy will provide a strategic response to the issues highlighted by the Review. To view a copy of the Review follow the link below.
