The Type of Flats you can have

You should examine the information below before you complete your application for housing form.

Flats

One bedroom flat

  • Single person or couples without children.
One bedroom flat in a mature block
  •  Single persons or couples where one party is aged 40 years or over.

Two bedroom ground floor flat

  • Priority is given to households with one child or two children of the same sex, or couples with a medical need for separate bedrooms.
Two bedroom flat - first floor and above
  •  Families with one or more children of the same sex.
You will only be placed on the housing register for property types for which you are eligible. If you ask for property types for which you are not eligible, it may not be possible to offer you a property.
