Tenants' & Residents' Associations
Introduction
Tenants' and Residents' Associations (TARAs) are local groups organised and managed by a committee of local volunteers.
Tenants' and Residents' Associations (TARAs) are recognized by the Council. They play an important role in building local communities, contributing to the making of policy and the delivery of services to tenants of Cannock Chase District.
There are ten T.A.R.A.s in the district. Please see below for details:

Longford and Avon Residents' Association

All of the associations operate an equal opportunities policy and welcome everyone who is resident within their boundary.
All associations who are recognized by the Housing Department and continue to fulfill the recognition criteria receive an annual grant and support from the Council.
Cannock Chase Council's Housing Department wish to encourage the formation and development of representative Tenants' and Residents' groups across the district.
