Disabled Adaptations
Eligibility for disabled adaptations in a Council property
A disabled adaptation is major works required to your home to enable you to have full access to the facilities.
For an adaptation to be carried out, we will need to have a referral from an Occupational Therapist from the Social Care and Health.
We will aim to provide an effective long-term solution to your housing requirements taking into account your individual circumstances. In some instances, it may not be possible to make an adaptation to your existing home, and we may decide to look at alternative solutions.
