To do the course you must be over 16 and able to do the following pool test:

Jump or dive into deep water

Swim 50 metres in less than one minute

Swim 100 metres continuously front and back
-
Tread water for 30 seconds (deep water)

Surface dive and retrieve object 2 metres deep

Climb out of the pool unaided without using steps
