Cricket Development
The Cannock Chase Cricket Development Group aims to improve the opportunities for people to take part and progress in Cricket within the Cannock Chase area.
In order to achieve this, the group, in conjunction with Cannock Chase District Council have put together a Cricket Development Plan which links directly into the council's Corporate Performance Plan and Playing Pitch Strategy as well as the English Cricket Board's National Cricket Development Plan.
Membership of the group is open to any individuals who wish to support the ongoing development of the sport in the area. Key partners of the group include:

- Cannock Cricket Club
- Cannock & Rugeley Cricket Club
- Cannock & Rugeley School Sport Partnership
- Local Schools
- Rugeley Cricket Club
- Staffordshire Cricket Board
