The business support environment has changed significantly in recent times. Whilst generic, national information is available through the Business Link website, the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) believes that there should be a local solution. As such they will be operating 0300 111 8002 as the single point of contact for business support on a pilot basis from 1st February. The helpline will offer existing local businesses or prospective businesses a brokerage service linking them to the publicly funded organisation best placed to help them.
The aim of this service will be to refer support to appropriate local providers and the Stoke & Staffordshire LEP hope that by establishing a single contact point they will be able to provide businesses with the help they need.
The service will operate as a 6 month pilot with a complementary email address for enquiries. The phone line (0300 111 8002) will be available Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 8pm, Friday 8.00am – 6pm and Saturday 9.00am – 5pm.
