Food and Health & Safety
Our Food and Safety team:
- Carries out food hygiene and workplace safety inspections.
- Investigates food complaints, food poisonings and workplace accidents.
- Enforces animal welfare and licensing laws including dog fouling and stray dogs.
- Provides a health promotion service with partners like the Primary Care Trust (PCT).
- Manages the public mortuary service.
