Cannock Chase Council

Landlords Forum

About Our Landlords Forums

In July 1998, the Housing Options Team introduced a Landlords Forum. The Forum meetings usually are held twice a year. The Forum has proven extremely beneficial to small local landlords in and around the Cannock Chase District. It offers Landlords access to Council Officers and representatives from external organisations who provide accurate information and guidance on a number of issues related to the Private Rented Sector.

It also provides the opportunity for landlords throughout the area to get together and exchange information.

Minutes

Two or more guest speakers are invited to join us for every meeting.

The speakers so far have included representatives from a number of professions i.e. The Benefits Agency (DWP), Housing Benefits, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, Environmental Health (Private Sector Housing), Inland Revenue, NLA (National Landlords Association) to name a few.

If you would like minutes of any of the past meetings, or wish to be informed of the date and venue of the next meeting, please contact the Housing Options Team on 01543 462621

Furthermore, if there is a specific subject/ topic you would like us to address at the next forum, please contact either Dee Kalirai, Housing Options Officer or Julie Cope, Principal Housing Options Officer on 01543 462621.
