Museum Events 2012

Friday 1st June- Friday 8th June 2012

Calling all Princesses, Calling all Knights,

Your company is requested for Half term Holiday Fun!

 

 Fri 1st June - Drop-in Workshop with Community Wellbeing: Arts

Drop-in workshop 11am - 3pm  £1 per child, just turn up. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. Fun family ways to family health- join in a variety of Good Life project arts and crafts activities.

 

Sunday 3rd June - The Big Teddy Bears'Picnic

Diamond Jubilee family drop-in event 11am - 2pm A free family event aimed at children aged 0-5 years.  Bring a picnic and join in the outdoor fun and games on the museum field. Have a go on the bouncy castle and slide, take part in the Chase It activities and make your own crown! Follow the Big Bear Hunt around the museum.  Come in fancy dress and don't forget your teddy bear.

 

Wed 6th June - Drop-in Workshop

Drop-in Workshop 11am - 3pm  £1 per child, just turn up. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.  Pennants and flags, princess headbands, knight's helmets and jousting knights.

 

Thurs 7th June - Drop-in Workshop

Drop-in Workshop 11am - 3pm  £1 per child, just turn up. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.  Design a family coat of arms, knights and dragons finger puppets, jousting knights, colouring sheets and mazes,

Drop-in family craft activities on a nature theme. Special museum opening including gift shop and refreshments.
