Group Talks
Are you part of a group or organisation that invites talks from visiting speakers?
Or are you looking for an attraction for your group to visit? The award-winning Museum of Cannock Chase will deliver talks to groups and organisations, either at the museum or at your own venue.
Our experienced museum guides can deliver talks on:
• 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum'
• 'Houses from History' - domestic life through the ages
• 'Making Do' - The World War II Homefront
All talks are very informal and include the opportunity to handle artefacts. We welcome audience participation and discussion as part of the sessions!
Talks can take place on weekday afternoons or evenings, and be tailored to suit your particular needs. At the museum, your talk can also include a tour of the museum galleries and light refreshments.
We make a small charge for this service to cover staff costs.
Please note that the talks we offer are not always available, as they are delivered by different members of staff. We may occasionally need to change the topic of your talk but will contact you if we need to do this.
