Extra Recycling Capacity

Residents who have more recycling than will fit into their Blue wheelie bin on a regular basis, may be able to have a larger blue bin (subject to sufficient recsources).

Residents must first telephone our Contact Centre on 01543 462621 or email wasteservices to give their details.

The resident will then be contacted via letter and once the resident has replied, an officer will visit the household to ensure that all waste is being recycled properly and that all three bins are being utilised correctly.

Delivery of the bin will then commence and monitoring may occur to ensure that the extra capacity is not being abused.

The Council will remove any extra capacity for recyclables if it is not being used correctly.
