Household Waste Recycling Centres (Tip) Opening Times & Bring Site Locations

Announcement - Temporary Closure at Rugeley
Rugeley Household Waste Recycling Centre will be undergoing a large redvelopment between January and March 2012.

 

The working area of the site will be maximised within the existing perimeter, enabling the site to expand the portfolio of existing services and adapt to future needs.  

 

The current hard standing surface will be removed and reinstated in a new user-friendly design.  

 

The site will be closed between Wednesday 11th January and Thursday 8th March while the work is carried out, opening as normal on Friday 9th March.  

 

During the redevelopment period, residents will be able to use other Household Waste Recycling Centres across the county including those nearby at: 
 
Cannock - Lichfield Road, WS11 8NQ (approximately 7 miles from Rugeley)  

 

Burntwood – Ring Road, Chase Terrace, WS7 3JQ (approximately 8.5 miles from Rugeley)

 

Lichfield – Trent Valley Road, WS13 6EU (approximately 9.5 miles from Rugeley)  

 

Residents are advised to check the opening days of their preferred alternative recycling centre.
