Community forums for local people

Community forums are taking place across the District in September to give local people the chance to raise concerns and ask questions about issues affecting their local communities.

The forums are held quarterly and September's meetings are:

* Heath Hayes, Norton Canes and Rawnsley community forum
Tuesday 4th September, 7pm
Norton Canes High School, Burntwood Road

* Hednesford community forum
Monday 10th September, 7pm
Museum of Cannock Chase, Valley Road, Hednesford

* Rugeley and Brereton community forum
Tuesday 11th September, 7pm
Rugeley Town Council, Taylors Lane

* Cannock community forum
Tuesday 18th September, 7pm
Council chamber, Civic Centre, Beecroft Road, Cannock

Representatives from local policing teams and the Chase Community Partnership will be attending to answer people's questions about local issues in their communities. A representative from the Mid Staffordshire Hospitals NHS Trust will also be providing an update on Trust-related matters and answering questions.

The Hednesford forum on Monday 10th September will also be tweeted live by Cannock Chase Council at www.twitter.com/cannockchasedc People don't need to be a Twitter user to follow the live updates but only Twitter users can contribute to the debate online.
