Memorial Trees and Benches
MEMORIAL TREES
A limited number of memorial trees are available at Stile Cop Cemetery. The trees are a recent addition to the setting of the cemetery and will provide an avenue of trees lining some of the roadways. The trees can be leased for a ten year period with the option to renew the lease at the end of the ten years. We have a number of mature trees and also the recent addition of a number of young trees.
Acer Rubrum ( Red Maple) has red flowers which appear before the leaves and then in autumn the leaf colour can change to purple and then orange.
Sorbus Intermedia (Swedish Whitebeam) Creamy white flowers which appear in May with yellow to orange leaves in autumn, followed by orange - red fruits.
A brass engraved plaque mounted on a solid oak backing board will be placed in front of your dedicated tree.
The cost of leasing a memorial tree for ten years is £250.00 which includes the solid brass plaque.
There are currently no memorial trees available.
MEMORIAL BENCHES
Our distinctive memorial benches made of cast iron steel are available at Cannock, Stile Cop and Wolseley Road cemeteries. The benches include arms, deer logo and are dated with the year they are purchased. The price includes a bronze memorial plaque inscribed with words of your choice.
The benches may be placed in a suitable position within the cemetery following a discussion and consultation with the cemetery supervisor.
The cost of purchasing a memorial bench is £822.50 which includes the memorial plaque.
