The Domestic Violence Project

The Domestic Violence Project is a pioneer organization, working within a multi-agency partnership to provide support and advice to women and children suffering from the effects of domestic abuse, within the Cannock Chase District.

The Project provides a wide range of services to women and children.
  • A drop-in centre in Cannock, where service-users can seek support in a safe and confidential environment.
  • Advocacy; to represent service-users when dealing with courts, housing, and other agencies.
  • Outreach service for those unable to visit the drop-in centre
  • A 24hour- Helpline: (01543) 500 324
  • The Project Support-workers offer a wide range of work-sessions to women and children, to help them coming to terms with their experiences and empower them to take those first steps towards an abuse-free future.
  • One-to-one sessions

  • Discussions
  • Crafts and creative work
  • Various Courses
The Project works in close collaboration with the local refuges, and
Staffordshire police department.
