The Big Smoke Debate in Cannock Chase

The Big Smoke Debate Cannock Chase invited members of the Cannock Chase Council's Citizens' Panel who live or work in the region to vote on whether enclosed public places such as restaurants, pubs and shopping centres should become more smoke free.

This debate was not about banning smoking. It was about where smoking should be allowed and whether certain places should be completely smoke free, mainly smoke free, mainly smoking or allow smoking throughout.

This survey ran from the 24th November 2005 to 19th December 2005. The results will inform local, regional and national policy makers who make decisions about your local environment.
