A HUGE milestone in the history of the Princes Trust in Staffordshire is about to be reached with the forming of the 200th team.

Cannock Team 200 becomes operational on June 9 - an achievement which only one other county in Britain has managed.

The programme runs from 9th June until 29th August. It is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9-5pm from Suite 101, High Green Court, Cannock.

And as a result, a celebration for local teams - featuring a nostalgic look at the 12-year history of the Trust in Staffordshire is being planned.

The event will feature old video and pictures as well as guest speakers.

The team is open to anyone in the area between the ages of 16-25 who would like to gain new skills, qualifications and put something back into the community. The perfect way to fill your summer!

The Prince of Wales Centre, in Cannock, is looking for some exceptional young performers for their summer holiday workshop production of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”. Age 8 to 18.

The Prince of Wales Centre, in Cannock, is looking for some exceptional young performers for their summer holiday workshop production of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".

Age 8 to 18. No prepared audition pieces needed.

All of the roles are up for grabs, but they are especially looking for excellent young actors and singers for the lead roles of Peter (aged 13/14) Susan (12/13), Edmund (10-11) and Lucy (9/10), Aslan and The White Witch.
