Recycle Calendar

The 2022/23 waste and recycling calendars are on their way to residents in Cannock Chase.

The calendars are being distributed to over 45,000 households in the District over the next few weeks.  The calendars, which detail collection dates for the green, blue and brown bins, also include information about what can and can’t go in your bins.

Councillor Justin Johnson, Portfolio Leader for Environment and Climate Change said “We recommend that you keep your calendar accessible; in my house it’s on the fridge.  Not only does it remind you when your collection dates are, it also gives information on what can and can’t be recycled.  With the move to dual stream dry mixed recycling, it is even more important.

“You will also see a thank you from me.  I am so pleased that residents have embraced the move to dual stream recycling.  This change has been implemented across Staffordshire and means that our plastic, glass and aluminum are reprocessed in the UK and our paper is better quality now it is collected separately, which also stays in the UK to be recycled.”

You can find out what goes in which bin by using our search facility on our website: www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/whichbin.

All calendars will be delivered by the end of November.  If you don’t receive one or lose it you can also download and print replacement calendars from our website http://www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/residents/recycling-waste/waste-and-recycling-collection-calendars.
