'Love Where You Live' is a national camapign that aims to inspire, encourage and enable people to make where they live, work, and visit, the kind of place they really want to be.
The purpose of this campaign is to increase community involvement/recognition and encourage residents to take part in positive participation whilst instiling civic pride back into their communities.
When the local community take pride in where they live, they are more likely to take the time to maintain their area, reducing anti-social and criminal behaviour.

The Love Your Street initiative was launched in October 2012 by the Chase Community Partnership. Love Your Block
Residents living on estates in Cannock Chase are being encouraged to ‘Love your Block’ as part of a campaign urging tenants to take pride in where they live.
Over the last 12 months, Cannock Chase Council’s Estate Management team has made various improvements to various housing blocks. Tenants have seen their communal areas refurbished and transformed into clean, bright and welcoming spaces.
Staffordshire County Council’s Highways team has joined forces with the Council’s Environmental Services team to carry out environmental improvements to the outside areas which has improved the external appearance of the estates.
‘Love your Block’ aims to maintain the standard of these improvements by encouraging tenants to get involved and become a Resident Champion. This will help keep the appearance of the communal areas clean and tidy.
To find out more about this campaign speak to your local Estate Management Officer on 01543 462621.
