Review of Polling Places etc

Note: This information relates to the most recent comprehensive review undertaken in 2019 / 20.  Since then, a small number of polling station locations have changed.  Please refer to poll cards, when issued, or the relevant election notices, when published, for up to date information on the location of polling stations.

Notice of Review of Polling Districts & Polling Places – Initial Recommendations

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with statutory requirements, Cannock Chase Council is conducting a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations.

The Council has sought feedback on the suitability of the facilities that are currently used, any proposed changes or any related matters.  Particular reference has been made to location and accessibility issues.  The views of local electors as well as persons or organisations with particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability was sought.

Further to this, the (Acting) Returning Officer has made a number of initial recommendations on the suitability of polling stations within each polling district and comments are invited on these initial recommendations.

All comments and representations must be submitted by 15 November, 2019, in accordance with the following timetable:
