On behalf of Cannock Chase Council and residents of the District, it is with great sadness with which we have received the news of the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh today.
Our condolences go out to The Queen and the Royal Family and our thoughts are with them during this time.
The Duke of Edinburgh has served our country with both distinction and honour throughout his life. The Council’s flag is being flown at half-mast until the day after the funeral has taken place.
