The community of Norton Canes are being invited to come along and plant a tree as part of the improvement works to the Cema - Chapel Street Park in Norton Canes.

Cannock Chase Council have received funding to help residents in the District, who are living in cold, inefficient rented properties.

Just a couple of months after Cannock Chase Council announced its intention to create a new urban woodland at Bradbury Lane in Hednesford, over 3,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted to date.

This significant achievement, with the help of the Forest of Mercia CIC, has come about thanks to the combined efforts of over 15 local volunteer groups and residents living nearby who have all been busy planting trees and shrubs in the past few weeks.

A mobile hairdresser has been prosecuted for breaching Covid restrictions during the last national lockdown.  On 20 January 2021, Nicola Watts left her home in Rishworth Avenue in Rugeley and drove to the home of another person where she carried out the services of a hairdresser.

Cannock Chase Council are proposing to implement a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) (Alcohol Restriction Zone) in the District.

Our crews are out attempting to collect today's (Monday 29 November) brown and blue bins.
