Paying Your Rent

Rent LogoYour tenancy agreement outlines that rent must be paid for your home and is due weekly in advance. Your rent should come first; it is your responsibility to ensure its payment and liaise with the DWP or Housing Benefit if required.

We are here to help!

Making you feel secure in your home  is our number one priority.

We understand that illness or unemployment can sometimes make it difficult to pay your rent and we are here to offer advice and support in such times.

If you are worried about your rent, please call our income management team immediately on 01543 462621 or send an email to incomemanagementteam@cannockchasedc.gov.uk
