Generous staff at Cannock Chase Council have made a bumper donation of food, toys and money to the Dogs Trust just in time for Christmas.

Earlier this week, boxes and boxes of goodies were handed over to the Dogs Trust’s Rehoming Centre in Kenilworth.  Kind hearted staff throughout Council had made the donations to help give those dogs remaining there an even better Christmas.

The Dogs Trust provided full assistance, including transport and kennelling, when Environmental Health Officers recently seized 60 dogs from a house in Cannock.

Cllr John Preece, Environment Portfolio Leader, said “This year the Dogs Trust have once again stepped up to support Environmental Health in their important animal welfare enforcement work.   We’re very grateful for the ongoing support of the Dogs Trust and wish all their staff, and of course the dogs, a very Merry Christmas”.
