We are asking residents to ensure that postal votes for the Hednesford North by-election are returned in good time due to the Royal Mail strikes. One of the strikes falls on the day of the election, 8 September, so we won’t receive any post that day.
Voters can also hand their postal vote in on election day at one of the polling stations or they can bring it to the Civic Offices before 10pm. The polling stations are:
• The Museum of Cannock Chase
• Pye Green Community Centre
• The Scout Hut, Mavis Road
• Portable Polling Station, the Bell & Bottle pub
• Portable Polling Station, Brindley Heath Car Park
