Hednesford Park Skate Park and Multiuse Games Area - October 2025 update
Following a planned upgrade to the lighting at Hednesford Park we have been alerted to the fact that although when installed the lighting met the required standard the lighting does not now conform with the latest standards and as a consequence we will now need some rewiring work to do so.
This effectively means that there will be no lighting at night and we would therefore recommend that users do not attend the site during the evening. Whilst we can lock the multiuse games area at night we cannot close off the skate park and usage will be at the individual’s risk/discretion.
The remaining lighting in the park is unaffected.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to users but health and safety remains the Council’s priority.
